Starting in February 2008 the AAA Four Diamond Award-winning resort is receiving a fresh new makeover in all the guest rooms. These smartly redesigned rooms will feature stylish comfort complemented with ultra-modern amenities and chic upgrades. Each room will be revamped to provide the perfect retreat for relaxation. Simple lines with an ergonomic design will be detailed to give it a high-touch feel, providing you with a comfortable space to make yourself at home. Warm woods lining each room will also be accentuated with a boldly modern color scheme and well appointed fabrics.
For superior sleep comfort, Sealy Posturepedic pillow-top beds will soon be a standard feature in each of their remixed rooms. There will also be 42" LCD TVs in each room and iHome MP3 player docks for use with your iPod. Robes for lounging around your room, whisper quiet door closures, a cordless phone to allow you to be mobile within the room and many more amenities round out the list of new additions in each room that are reflective of today's lifestyle and enjoyment of your own favorite private oasis at The Mirage.
There are many notable features to the Mirage hotel, including the volcano that erupts every fifteen minutes during the night. As the primary theme of the Mirage is a tropical one, you can expect to see lots of gardens, palms and exotic plants and animals during your stay.
Food & Entertainment
The Mirage offers extraordinary entertainment, events and restaurants. The hotel experience continues with the breathtaking front desk area, which features a 20,000-gallon saltwater aquarium that houses nearly 1,000 marine life forms, including sharks, stingrays, porcupine fish, eels, sea bass and puffer fish. The 2,763 newly renovated hotel rooms are nicely appointed, while the beautifully landscaped pool area is the ideal place to spend afternoons before heading inside, where a spa, impressionist extraordinaire Danny Gans and numerous restaurants — including the delightful Carnegie Deli — await. The Mirage is also home to Cirque du Soliel's LOVE and the Beatles-themed Revolution Lounge.
The tigers and dolphins in Siegfried & Roy's Secret Garden and Dolphin Habitat feel right at home in this tropical environment. The Mirage also is home to one of the best free attractions on the Strip: the mesmerizing volcano.
Check-In and Check-Out:
What time is check-in and check-out?
Check-in time is 3:00 p.m. It is possible that you may be able to check in sooner, depending on inventory of clean, vacant rooms. Otherwise, the Bell Desk can store your luggage until your room is ready.
Check-out time is 12:00 noon. If your travel plans necessitate a later check-out, please contact the Front Desk to assist you with these arrangements. Please note that a late checkout fee may apply. The Bell Desk will be happy to hold your luggage for you until you are ready to depart if you are not able to arrange a late checkout.
Amenities, Guestroom
Do your guestrooms have irons, ironing boards, hairdryers, refrigerators and coffee makers?
Hairdryers, irons, ironing boards, standard toiletries (shampoo, conditioner, and lotion), alarm clocks, and room safes are provided in all of our guest- rooms. We do not provide coffee makers or microwave ovens. Refrigerators and cribs are available upon request for a nominal daily fee.
Check Cashing
Can I cash a personal check at The Mirage to avoid carrying a large amount of cash?
Mirage guests providing proper identification (major credit card and valid driver's license) can cash personal checks, up to $1,000, at our Casino Cage. Non-hotel guests may cash checks up to $500. Gym
Do you have a gym, and is there a charge to use it?
The Spa Fitness Center features state-of-the-art Cybex weight and cardio equipment. The wet area consists of Jacuzzis, eucalyptus steam, sauna and juice bar. There is a daily facility fee of $25.00 which can be waived with the purchase of select Spa treatments. Spa hours are 5:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. daily. Non-guests are permitted to use the facilities Monday through Thursday.
Internet Access
Do you offer Internet access, and what is the charge?
High Speed: We now offer High Speed Internet access in our guestrooms and suites. The Mirage High Speed Internet is a combination of Ethernet and Wireless connections. This High Speed access has wireless capabilities and offers download speeds of 1.5 MB. The cost is $12.99 for up to a 24 hours access period per laptop. Each additional user accessing the same Ethernet port will result in an additional charge of $12.99 to the guestroom bill. The $12.99 charge is specific to the IP address of the user. A $12.99 charge is billed to the guestroom when a guest uses the Ethernet port for the entire 24-hour period or any portion of 24 hours.
High Speed Internet access ("broadband" access) is also available in our Business Services Center during normal business hours, in a private Mini Suite, at the cost of $15.00 for 15 minutes, $30.00 for a 1/2 hour and $60.00 for an hour. The countertop computers are $10 for 15 minutes and $10 for every additional 15 minute period there after. For more information call (800) 456-4564 or (702) 792-7783.
Dial-up: Accessing the Internet from your guestroom is treated the same way as using the telephone in your guestroom. A $1.00 access fee for the first 30 minutes and $0.15 for each additional minute will apply to every local or toll free call. If you have to dial your ISP using a long distance number rather than a toll-free or local number, regular long distance charges will apply.

Do you provide limousine service for your guests?

Mail/Packages
How can I mail something to a Mirage guest?
Address the package to The Mirage Hotel and Casino, 3400 Las Vegas Blvd. South, Las Vegas, NV 89109. Be sure to write the recipient's name on the package, followed by the words "Hotel Guest" and their arrival date. Our Business Services Center will notify the guest of their package. Parking
Do you offer free parking?
In addition to complimentary valet service, we have plenty of secure free parking in our self-park garage at the north entrance of the hotel. We also offer oversize parking nearby for large vehicles and recreational vehicles.
Pets
Do you allow pets at The Mirage?
Sorry, pets are not allowed. Our Front Desk or Room Reservations staff may assist you with kennel locations. Service animals are allowed.
Room Requests
If I book in advance, can I be assured a non-smoking room, bed type or floor preference?
Regretfully, we cannot guarantee room requests, regardless of when a reservation is made, because rooms are assigned from the inventory of clean, vacant rooms that are available when a guest arrives. We do note all room requests and make every attempt to satisfy those requests.
Transportation
What transportation is available from your location on The Strip?
Shuttles are available to and from McCarran International Airport. Other transportation options include taxis, limousine service, the City Bus, Strip Trolley and the various connecting trams and walkways between Strip resorts. There is a Dollar Rent-A-Car desk located in our hotel lobby for your convenience in renting a vehicle during your stay. You may contact Dollar Rent-A-Car at (702) 791-7111, ext. 7425. Our Bell Desk will be happy to assist you with any of your transportation needs.
Volcano
When does the volcano erupt?
The Mirage is pleased to announce the renovation of our famed Volcano. This signature attraction erupted for the last time on February 3rd, and is scheduled to reopen by the end of 2008. Eruption schedule will be announced at that time.
Wheelchairs
Do you have wheelchairs available for your guests?
Our Bell Desk can assist you with a wheelchair when you arrive. There is no charge for regular wheelchairs, but you will be required to leave an imprint of your credit card as a security deposit until the wheelchair is returned.
